About Andrew Troth / Fido Troth

Author of the Dog Bloke series of novels, He usually writes from a dog's point of view. Described as similar to "Watership Down" but with doggies instead of bunnies.

Andrew Troth was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England 

 He found that on many book-based websites, such as Amazon and Goodreads, he was getting mixed up with several other authors and narrators named Andrew Troth. (especially Americans, where the surname Troth is more common)  

As he has no middle name to distinguish himself from these other authors, he decided to use the pseudonym Fido Troth, especially for his dog-based writing. 

He still uses his birth name for other non-dog stories.  

Andrew spent over seven and a half years as a professional dog-walker, only closing the business in 2022 following COVID issues affecting his client base and his own health problems.  

His surname ‘Troth’ is pronounced to rhyme with “froth” and “broth”, NOT “growth” and “both”

I understand that stories written from a dog's point of view aren't everyone's cup of tea, and therefore i DO atttempt to write 'normal' stuff (See the stuff listed under Andrew Troth
